My Principle To Keep
One principle that I would have to keep if I was in the post-apocalyptic of The Road is that I would never do anything to harm another human being unless absolutely necessary. By absolutely necessary I mean in situations where if I do not I will be harmed. Like when the man shot the stranger because he took the boy by the throat. That is an example that I would consider to be absolutely necessary to act. I’m not a fan of violence and I hate when people kill one another when there could have been another way, when it was not at all absolutely necessary. I despise unnecessary cruelty, honestly, it's really stupid. Taking a life should only occur in the most extreme situations. If a situation came to be in which causing harm to another would be out of revenge I still would resist the urge. After all, two wrongs never make a right, nor do they ever improve anything.
